1. Information We Collect

Clicko does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII). The app operates entirely on your local network and does not transmit any data to our servers.

The only data used by the app includes:

• Local network information (IP addresses) to discover and connect to your Smart TV — this data never leaves your device.
• App preferences (e.g. haptic feedback settings) stored locally on your device via UserDefaults.
• Voice input (microphone) used temporarily for voice search — not recorded or stored.

2. Local Network Usage

Clicko requires access to your local Wi-Fi network solely to discover and communicate with Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Sony, Roku, Fire TV). No information about your network or connected devices is transmitted externally.

3. Camera & Microphone

Microphone: Used only when you activate voice search. Audio is processed on-device via iOS Speech Recognition. We do not record or retain your voice data.

Camera: Used only in the QR/barcode scanner feature to scan codes. Images are processed on-device and never stored or transmitted.

4. Photo Library

If you import photos for casting to your TV, images are accessed only for the duration of the cast session and are not stored or uploaded by the app.

5. Third-Party SDKs

Clicko integrates the Google Cast SDK to enable Chromecast support. Google's own privacy policy governs data handled by this SDK. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Clicko is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
