The short version: CueFlow does not collect your data. Your scripts stay on your device, your voice is recognized on-device and never leaves your iPhone, and your recordings are saved only to your own Photos library. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no ads.
CueFlow is an iOS teleprompter app that follows your voice while you record, developed and operated by Anshul Jain ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Scripts you write, paste, or import, along with your app settings and persona choice, are stored only in the app's local database on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData. They are never transmitted to us — we operate no servers and have no ability to see, access, or recover them.
CueFlow's voice-follow feature uses Apple's Speech framework configured for on-device recognition (requiresOnDeviceRecognition). Your speech is transcribed transiently, purely to keep the script scrolling at the reading position, and is then discarded. It is never stored, never turned into captions, and never leaves your iPhone. There is no cloud transcription and no server involved. If on-device recognition isn't available for your language, the prompter simply falls back to fixed-speed scrolling.
When you record, CueFlow uses the camera and microphone to capture your take. The resulting video is saved only to your own Photos library (with add-only access — CueFlow cannot read your existing photos). We never receive, upload, or store a copy of your footage. What you do with a saved video afterward is entirely up to you.
CueFlow Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. The app checks your purchase status on-device using Apple's StoreKit framework. Purchases are subject to Apple's privacy policy.
The app may ask for access to your microphone and speech recognition (for voice-follow), your camera (to record), and add-only access to your photo library (to save takes). Each is optional and explained on a CueFlow screen before the system prompt appears. CueFlow requests no other permissions.
CueFlow is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
Your scripts and settings live only on your device. To erase them, delete the app — iOS removes its entire local database. Recordings you already saved to Photos remain in your Photos library until you delete them there. There is nothing for us to delete on any server, because nothing was ever sent to one.
If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and change the effective date above before the change ships. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
