The short version: TradeBill does not collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads.
TradeBill is an iOS app for creating estimates and invoices, developed and operated by Anshul Jain ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
When you use TradeBill, you may enter information such as your business name and contact details, your logo, client names and contact details, service prices, estimates, invoices, payment records, job photos, notes, and signatures. All of this is stored only in the app's local database on your iPhone. It is never transmitted to us — we operate no servers and have no ability to see, access, or recover it.
Because the data lives on your device, it is protected by your device passcode and iOS encryption, and it is included in your device backups if you have iCloud or computer backups enabled. Those backups are governed by Apple's privacy policy, not by us.
When you export, print, or send a PDF estimate or invoice, you do so through apps and services you choose (for example Mail, Messages, WhatsApp, or AirDrop). The contents of that PDF go wherever you send them, under the privacy terms of the service you used. TradeBill itself does not transmit or retain a copy.
If you use the optional AI estimate feature, the job description you type is sent to an AI service to draft suggested line items. Only the text you type in that field is sent — never your client list, invoices, or other stored data. Don't include information in a job description that you wouldn't want processed by a third-party service. The feature is entirely optional; the rest of the app works fully offline.
TradeBill Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account information. The app checks your subscription status on-device using Apple's StoreKit framework. Purchases are subject to Apple's privacy policy.
The app may ask for access to your photo library — only when you choose to attach a photo to a job or add a logo. Selected images are stored locally with the rest of your data. TradeBill requests no other permissions.
TradeBill is a business tool and is not directed at children. Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.
Your data belongs to you and lives only on your device. To erase everything, delete the app — iOS removes its entire local database. There is nothing for us to delete on any server, because nothing was ever sent to one.
If we ever change how the app handles data — for example, by adding an optional sync feature — we will update this policy and change the effective date above before the change ships. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
