Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vocabword, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Vocabword is a vocabulary learning application that helps users expand their English vocabulary through daily word learning, quizzes, word games, custom word lists, and spaced repetition techniques. The app offers both free and premium subscription tiers.

User Accounts

Vocabword does not require user registration. Your learning progress is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored on it.

Subscriptions & Payments

Premium Subscription

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Free Trial

The monthly and yearly plans include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. During the trial, you have full access to all premium features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for your selected subscription plan. The weekly plan does not include a free trial — billing begins at purchase.

Your Content

Custom words and word lists you create in Vocabword belong to you and are stored only on your device. You are responsible for the content you add; do not add unlawful or infringing material.

Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be made through Apple. We cannot process refunds directly. For refund assistance, please contact Apple Support.

Intellectual Property

All content in Vocabword, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is the property of Vocabword and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
• Share your premium subscription with others
• Use automated systems to access the app
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the app

Disclaimer of Warranties

Vocabword is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any learning outcomes or results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vocabword shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
