TradeBill

Terms of Use

Effective date: July 11, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Anshul Jain ("we", "us") covering your use of the TradeBill iOS application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where these Terms grant you more, these Terms control between you and us.

1. What TradeBill is

TradeBill is a tool for creating estimates, invoices, and related business documents. It stores your data on your device, requires no account, and works offline. It is a document tool — not an accounting, tax, legal, or payment-processing service.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own business use, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits.

3. Free tier and TradeBill Pro

The app is free to download and use: you can create documents, manage clients and prices, and preview PDFs (free previews carry a watermark). TradeBill Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks watermark-free PDF export, sending and printing, AI-drafted estimates, and premium templates.

4. Your content and your responsibility

Everything you create in TradeBill — clients, prices, estimates, invoices, photos, signatures — is yours. We claim no ownership and, because data is stored only on your device, we never receive it. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the documents you create and send, including prices, taxes, disclosures, and the handling of your clients' information under laws that apply to your business. You are also responsible for backing up your device; if the app is deleted or the device is lost, we cannot recover your data.

5. AI-drafted estimates

The optional AI feature drafts suggested line items from a job description you type. Suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your job — review and edit every AI-drafted estimate before sending it. You remain fully responsible for the final document.

6. Not professional advice

Nothing in the app — including calculated totals, tax fields, templates, and signature capture — constitutes accounting, tax, or legal advice, and we make no representation that documents created with the app satisfy any jurisdiction's legal or tax requirements. Consult a qualified professional for those questions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to create fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful documents, to infringe others' rights, or to interfere with or abuse the app or Apple's services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will never occur.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes to the app or these Terms

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also update these Terms; if we do, we will update the effective date above, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it (remember to cancel any active subscription separately). We may terminate this license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 4 through 9 survive termination.

12. Apple as third-party beneficiary

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
