"Generate questions" is not working

Question generation runs on Apple's on-device model, so it needs an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings and finished downloading. If the model is still setting up, Cramforge will tell you and your scanned pages stay saved so you can try again. Scanning, your existing questions, exams, and study plan all keep working regardless.

A question or answer looks wrong

Questions are AI-generated from your own notes and can be wrong. Tap a question to see the snippet of your notes it came from and check it against your source material. If a page scanned poorly, rescanning it in better light usually produces much better questions.

Scanning quality tips

Flatten the page and fill the frame with it.
Bright, even light beats a flash.
One page per scan reads better than a two-page spread.
Typed or neat handwriting produces the strongest questions.

Restoring a purchase

Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you purchased with.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The Semester Pass does not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel; it simply expires after 150 days.

Refunds

All purchases go through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Deleting your data

Everything Cramforge stores lives on your device only. Deleting a class removes its pages and questions, and deleting the app removes all of it. There is no server-side copy to request.
