Terms of Use

Acceptance

By downloading or using Cramforge ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is provided by Anshul Jain ("we", "us").

What Cramforge is for

Cramforge is a self-testing study tool. You supply material you already have the right to use, such as your own class notes, and the app generates practice questions from it so you can quiz yourself. Cramforge is not a homework-answering service, does not solve assignments, and is not intended to be used during an exam or in any other setting where such assistance is prohibited.

Academic integrity

You are responsible for complying with the academic-integrity rules of your school, instructor, or certifying body. Using any tool, including this one, in a way those rules forbid is your responsibility, not ours.

Your content

You keep all rights to the notes, images, and documents you bring into the app. They stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You confirm that you have the right to use the material you scan or import, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's copyright or other rights.

AI-generated content and accuracy

Questions and answers in Cramforge are generated automatically by an on-device AI model and can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Every question is shown alongside the snippet of your notes it came from so you can check it. Always verify answers against your own source material and your instructor's guidance before relying on them. Cramforge does not guarantee any particular grade, score, or outcome, and is not a substitute for studying, attending class, or professional instruction.

Subscriptions and purchases

Cramforge offers a free tier and paid access ("Cramforge Pro"):

Pro Weekly and Pro Annual are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. They renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period.
Pro Annual may include a free trial. If you subscribe during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase.
Semester Pass is a non-renewing purchase that unlocks Pro features for 150 days from the date of purchase. It does not auto-renew and simply expires at the end of that period.

You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region. Purchases are processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to infringe intellectual property rights, to attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the app, or to use it in any unlawful way or any way prohibited by the App Store terms.

Availability of on-device AI

Question generation depends on Apple Intelligence being available and enabled on your device. Not all devices, regions, or system versions support it. Where it is unavailable, generation features will not run, and we cannot guarantee availability on any particular device.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any academic, professional, or financial outcome arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
