Questions, bugs, and billing

That is completely normal and the app is deliberately built not to imply otherwise. Every window is a month range, and healthy babies arrive at each one at very different times. Firstframe does not screen or diagnose. If you have any concern about your child's development, your pediatrician is the right person to ask.
On your iPhone only. Firstframe has no server and no account, so nothing is uploaded. That also means the app cannot recover anything if the app is deleted, so keep your device backed up to iCloud or a computer if these memories matter to you (and they do).
Yes. Add another child from Settings, and switch between them from the header on the timeline.
Today's activities are chosen for the day, so they deliberately stay put until tomorrow. They are picked from your child's age and the focus areas you selected, both of which you can change in Settings.
Check that notifications are allowed for Firstframe in the iOS Settings app, then open Firstframe's own Settings screen once so it can schedule them. Reminders are limited on purpose: a heads-up before a new window opens, and one before a free trial ends. No streaks, no daily nagging.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The Lifetime purchase never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
All purchases go through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Everything lives on your device. Deleting a child removes their milestones and photos from the app, and deleting the app removes all of it. There is no server-side copy to request.
