Terms of Use

Acceptance

By downloading or using Firstframe ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is provided by Anshul Jain ("we", "us").

Firstframe is not medical advice

Firstframe is an educational milestone and memory app. It is not a medical device and it does not screen for, assess, or diagnose any condition. Milestones and development windows are expressed as typical month ranges drawn from public developmental guidance, including the CDC's "Learn the Signs. Act Early." materials, and healthy babies reach them at widely different times. Nothing in the app should be read as a statement that your child is ahead, behind, or at risk. If you have any question or concern about your child's development, talk to your pediatrician or another qualified health professional. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you read in this app.

Activities and supervision

Daily activity suggestions are general play ideas for a parent or caregiver to do with their child, under continuous adult supervision. You are solely responsible for judging whether any suggestion is safe and appropriate for your own child, in your own home, on that day. Stop immediately if your child is upset or if anything seems unsafe. Never leave a baby unattended during an activity.

Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, names, dates and notes you enter. They stay on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you add, and for deciding who to share an exported milestone card with. Once you share a card outside the app, it is out of our hands.

On-device personalisation

On supported devices, the app may vary the wording of an activity suggestion using Apple's on-device foundation model. The model can only select between wording options written in advance; it cannot invent an activity. Availability depends on your device, region and system version, and we cannot guarantee it on any particular device.

Subscriptions and purchases

Firstframe offers a free tier and paid access ("Firstframe Pro"):

Pro Annual is an auto-renewing yearly subscription and may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
Pro Monthly is an auto-renewing monthly subscription with no trial.
Both renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period.
Firstframe Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro permanently for that Apple Account. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.

You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region. Purchases are processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. The free tier remains usable without any purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to infringe intellectual property rights, to attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the app, or to use it in any unlawful way or any way prohibited by the App Store terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made about a child's health, development, or care based on your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
